Pediatric Partners wants to let our patients with Humana insurance know that Humana is not covering our costs for the flu vaccine. We have been working with Humana regarding flu vaccine payment, but we have not been successful in getting them to reimburse our cost.
Because Humana is refusing to cover our actual costs for the influenza vaccine, Pediatric Partners will not submit a bill to Humana for payment. If you have Humana and desire immunization for your child, you will be required to pay $25 for injectable vaccine or $35 for the nasal mist. If you choose to submit this bill to your insurance company, we would be happy to provide a receipt for this purpose.
We will have an employee who will be able to discuss this with you at our flu clinic if you have any questions.
