We are able to collect urine from infants and children and do a quick analysis in our office.  We send the urine for culture to the lab of your insurance company's choice.  We refer many children who have urinary tract infections for special testing at various radiology centers (again, dependent on insurance) to see if they are at risk for future serious infections.  Children's Mercy has more infomation on the test itself on their VCUG handout.
