We participate in Medical Education in several ways.  In addition to regular continuing education of all physicians and nurses, we help train medical students and nurse practitioner students.  We find this helps maintain our most current knowledge and is a fun and interactive experience for most families.

Our medical students come both from the University of Kansas Medical School and the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.  Our nurse practitioner students also come from local schools.  Students range in experience levels, but all are supervised by one of our staff.  Many families find that the discussions we do in teaching the students helps them further understand the health of their child. 

All of our students sign the same privacy statements as our staff.  We hold them to the same standards of compassion and respect for patients as any staff member.

If you do not want to have a student interact with your child, simply let the staff know.
