Well Child Care: Birth Through College

We see babies often the first few years of life to monitor growth and development, review safety issues and keep immunizations current.  Our initial meeting of your baby is usually in the hospital within 24 hours after delivery.  We see babies daily in the hospital and then 2-3 days after discharge for a weight check.  Most babies need additional weight checks the first few weeks of life to be sure weight gain is appropriate.  After this, we have routine well checks that coincide with immunization visits.  These visits occur at 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 24 months, and then yearly.  We believe in the "medical home" concept that has grown recently.  Children deserve a medical home - a place where their care is accessible, family-centered, continuous, comprehensive, coordinated, compassionate, and culturally effective.

Schools, daycares, scouting, athletics, and other organizations often require health forms to be completed prior to participation.  Please click here for forms you can download prior to your visit.

Kansas state law requires all high school athletes to have a sports physical after May 1st and before the sport season begins.  Please plan accordingly if you have a teen in sports.  Insurance only allows one well visit per year!  Click here for links to forms you may need.
