Sports physicals are in general not covered by health
insurance, but are done in conjunction with the annual exam to be
covered. By Kansas
state law, high school students must do a sports physical after May
1st and before the sport begins.
Please take this into consideration when scheduling yearly
exams for the adolescent.

| Well:
|
|
Sick:
|
| Infants follow the current CDC recommended guidelines for
immunizations, and their well visits coincide with need for
immunizations. Older
children are recommended to have a thorough check-up yearly or every
other year, depending on age and physical status. |
|
Routine sick children are usually seen the same day.
This may include, but is not limited to, upper respiratory
problems, possible ear infections, Strep throat, vomiting, diarrhea,
rashes, and constipation. Front office personnel may schedule these appointments, but
if you need advice whether or not to come in, please speak with a
nurse first.
